Last chance to be on AMI before the snowbirds return

Seriously, folks. They are coming and Anna Maria Island will no longer be our little oasis. So get out on Saturday to the 16th annual BayFest and enjoy the classic car show, the bars, arts and crafts and the great music lineup of local favorites.

Chow down on Chili

It may not be chilly outside but that shouldn’t stop you from going to the Morton’s Firehouse Chili Cook-Off on Sunday. All proceeds benefit the Sarasota Firefighters Benevolent Fund and for $10 you get to sample all of the chili.

I hate eggs. Hate them. You can scramble them, poach them, make them sunny side up, and then you can go ahead and stuff yourself because I want nothing to do with them. I have a hard time watching people eat eggs. I liked French toast until someone told me it was nothing more than … MORE>>
