Atomic Holiday Bazaar: Miss Johnny Squirrel

Yuki Osada calls her designs whimsical.

Personally, I think that’s an understatement.

The St. Petersburg artist is the brains and pen behind a body pillow in the shape of a pickle and the greeting card featuring a potato that wishes you a “spud-tacular day.”

Not smiling yet?

It’s because you’ve never seen a beaver making a s’more.

If you’re anything like me, you feel better than you have all day.

And I haven’t even shown you that pickle pillow yet.

Pretty great, right?

Osada studied illustration in college and then went into the apparel and home furnishing industries. Her screen printing business, Miss Johnny Squirrel, is the happy medium between the two. She spends her days creating moments of happiness and then turning them into things that people can use every day like tea towels, pillows and greeting cards.

This is the third year Osada is bringing her designs to the Atomic Holiday Bazaar on Saturday and Sunday.
