We’ve been promised at least four new restaurants at Westfield Southgate.
Today, we learned the third one.
(I know, the suspense has been killing you)
Naples Flatbread and Wine Bar is the latest company to sign onto the upcoming restaurant hub at Westfield Southgate mall.
Right now it just looks like a big chunk of ground up parking lot in the corner of the mall, but by the end of next year we could have as many as three of the four restaurants opened.
Connors Steak & Seafood and BRAVO! Cucina Italiana have also signed on to the project. The fourth restaurant is still a mystery.
(Yay! More suspense.)
The restaurant, which is expected to open in May or June, features Neapolitan pizza, gourmet baked pastas, flatbread encrusted burgers (yes, that’s a burger dipped in flatbread dough and baked) and mac and cheese, as well as signature entrees like boneless “Dolly’s Meatloaf,” “Melt In Your Mouth Pot Roast” and “Firecracker” salmon.
Other dishes include oven-roasted wings, warm Panini’s, wraps, salads and desserts. The restaurants offer a selection of more than 30 wines, craft beers and a full-service bar.
The lease with Westfield also includes a provision that allows for live entertainment on certain nights of the week, which fits into the mall’s mission to become an entertainment and lifestyle center.
